Buffalo Power Solutions, a platform company of Buffalo Growth Partners, today announced the acquisition of Emergency Power Service, a Beaumont, Texas-based provider of commercial and industrial generator sales, installation, maintenance, and service. The transaction marks Buffalo Power Solutions' fourth acquisition since its founding and expands the platform into the Beaumont–Port Arthur Golden Triangle, one of the most important industrial corridors in the country.
Founded in 1998, Emergency Power Service has spent more than 25 years supporting critical power customers across Southeast Texas and the Gulf Coast, including hospitals, manufacturing facilities, data centers, offshore operations, refineries, petrochemical plants, and other industrial sites.
Emergency Power Service brings Buffalo Power Solutions a highly experienced technical team with deep heavy-industrial capabilities. The company's factory-trained technicians hold TWIC and ISTC certifications, allowing them to work inside refineries, petrochemical plants, and other secured industrial facilities. The company also installs and services mobile and marine generator systems used in offshore and industrial applications.

"This is exactly the kind of company we are building Buffalo Power Solutions around. Emergency Power Service has earned its reputation the hard way — by showing up for critical customers, doing technically demanding work, and building trust across one of the toughest industrial markets on the Gulf Coast. John Baker and his team bring real capability, real relationships, and a culture that fits Buffalo."
— Robert Irving, CEO of Buffalo Growth Partners
Emergency Power Service will continue operating in the Beaumont area, with John Baker joining Buffalo Power Solutions as Regional Vice President. In that role, Baker will help lead Buffalo's Gulf Coast operations and support the continued growth of the platform across commercial and industrial emergency power markets.
"What mattered most to me was finding a partner who respected our employees, our customers, and the reputation we have built over the last 25 years. Buffalo was straightforward from the beginning. They understand this business, they value the team, and they are committed to helping us keep growing."
— John Baker, Regional Vice President of Buffalo Power Solutions
With locations now spanning Bryan/College Station, Houston, San Antonio–New Braunfels, Northeast Oklahoma, and Beaumont, Buffalo Power Solutions continues to build a leading commercial and industrial emergency power service platform across Texas, Oklahoma, and the Gulf Coast.
